About Us
The culmination of years of experience in craft baking and specialty coffee, Fortitude Bakehouse was founded in 2018 by Dee Rettali and Jorge Fernandez.

Jorge was the general manager of Monmouth Coffee Company and later founded Fernandez and Wells, while Dee founded Patisserie Organic in 1998 and thereafter joined Fernandez & Wells as the general manager and head of food.
Fortitude Bakehouse is the result of a shared love of flavour, provenance, and seasonal ingredients.
